*Free Online Tool* – Sort CSV/TXT file by character length of the selected column, from shortest to longest

ChatHelp.ai Team, will be releasing many free web-browser based mini javascript online tools, that will make your work, study, business tasks easier. Here is a first one of many.

Possible use case – you have a list of expired/auction domain names that you imported & exported from Ahrefs, SemRush – bulk analyzer, got nice SEO DA/DR stats… Now you have a CSV/TXT file, but you want to sort data by – sortest domain name to longest easily, if your goal is to aquire short brandable name.

• Please note that this tool works in your Web Browser memory, so please be patient if you upload large files, too large files can also crash your brower.
• Inital tests we did – tool could handle 37MB file, with 623k lines easily, on a 64GM RAM, 4core, Windows Server 2016.

Tool usage instructions:

1. Choose your CSV or TXT file using the file selector below
2. Select the appropriate delimiter (comma, tab, or semicolon) that matches your file format
3. Enter the column number you want to sort by (0 = first column, 1 = second column, etc.)
4. Click “Sort File” to process your data
5. Review the preview to ensure correct sorting
6. Click “Download” to save your sorted file

Note: This tool sorts data based on the character length of the selected column, from shortest to longest.
